I was really disappointed with my experience using the after-hours line. I was dealing with severe SI joint pain and had a prescription that my 24-hour pharmacy could not fill because they needed additional information from my doctor. The issue had already been sitting unresolved for several days, and when my pain became severe overnight I called the after-hours number hoping someone could help. Dr. Tye Young responded, “Dude, you’re calling me about this at 2 a.m. on a Saturday,” and mentioned pharmacies being closed. I explained that my pharmacy is open 24 hours and that the medication had already been prescribed, but the pharmacy was waiting on information from the doctor. I was told to use the patient portal, and when I explained that I had already been trying to address the situation through the office, I was essentially told it would be handled Tuesday. I completely understand that an after-hours physician may not be able to resolve every issue overnight. What bothered me was the dismissive and unprofessional way I was spoken to while I was in significant pain and trying to resolve an existing prescription problem. Dr. Young is my pcp and from my very 1st appointment, he has always made me feel at ease. He is easy to talk to and very attentive; doesn’t make you feel like you’re just a number! His staff has always been easy to deal with as well.

Dr Tye Young is the best physician that I have ever been to. He is patient, always upbeat and takes his time with his patients. You could not have a better doctor to care for you! The staff both the nurses and front desk are pleasant, helpful and friendly.

When I first walked in, I noticed the office is modern, clean and bright. Even as a new patient, I did not have to wait long. I saw the PA, Tess McKinney. She was thorough, kind and very timely. I am so pleased with my first visit!

I recently visited Dr. Young’s office on February 23rd, and I had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire visit comfortable from start to finish. Dr. Young took the time to really listen to me and address my concerns thoroughly, which I greatly appreciated. The appointment was efficient, and I was in and out pretty quickly without feeling rushed. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Young and their team, and I give them a solid 5 out of 5 stars for their outstanding care and service.
